A week they will talk about long after Friday.
Teacher led holiday camp at Herne Hill School for children in Reception to Year 3. Book one day or build the full week when the first wave of bookings opens at 9am on Saturday 29 August.
Learning, friendship and a ridiculous amount of fun.
Evergreen is run by Emma and Brad Clay, two primary school teachers who wanted a camp children genuinely look forward to. The days move between creativity, sport, woodland play, coding, English and maths.
Learning that feels like play.
Short phonics and maths games keep skills moving without recreating the classroom.
Strong teams and kind hearts.
Coached games help children compete with grace, support one another and build friendships.
Hands on logic.
Cubetto robots teach sequencing and problem solving without a screen.
Room to explore.
Woodland play, art and free choice give the day its breathing space.
Five days. Choose one or build the week.
Every day has the same calm rhythm and a different mix of activities. Standard hours are 8.30 am to 4 pm, with early drop off and late pickup available.
Enough routine to feel safe. Enough freedom to feel free.
The rhythm stays predictable, but the activities move. Children know what is coming next without feeling like every minute has been planned for them.
An optional calm start before the main day.
Friendly faces, familiar routines and time to arrive properly.
Themed projects with the focus on making, not perfection.
Short, playful and led by experienced teachers.
Coached games with fair play built in.
Den building, exploring and room to run.
Hands on problem solving with Cubetto robots.
Late pickup is available until 5.30 pm.
The bit we cannot write ourselves.
Parents talk about the calm atmosphere, the varied programme and children asking when they can come back.
“Evergreen is hands down my kids' favourite camp. It is incredibly well organised, calm and inviting.”
“On picking him up after his first day, I was greeted with a beaming smile followed by, ‘I had the best day ever.’”
“The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made drop off very easy.”
Two more things we made for families.
